Job summary

Sanctuary for Families seeks a Senior Case Manager for its Immigration Intervention Project (IIP) in Manhattan. You will provide social, case management, and advocacy services to immigrant survivors of gender-based violence, coordinating housing, benefits, and safety planning with IIP attorneys.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of relevant work, and bilingual English/Spanish. The role is full-time, hybrid, and offers benefits and a wage range consistent with NYC CBAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years relevant work experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required; additional language preferred.
• Experience with immigrant survivors of gender-based violence.
• Prior case management, paralegal or admin experience.
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and strong written/analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate case management to enhance safety and wellbeing.
• Mentor and train other case managers and interns.
• Conduct screening interviews to assess needs for public benefits.
• Work with attorneys to interview clients and gather immigration data.
• Maintain accurate client records in electronic databases.
• Provide administrative support to CSBG/DYCD team.
• Assist with OTDA eligibility and referrals.
