Job summary

The Waters in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate daily living support under nurse supervision. You will deliver personal care, assist with dining, perform homemaking tasks, and document health status while collaborating with the care team to follow the The Waters Way.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in senior care, and basic computer skills for electronic health records.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning and transferring.
• Assists residents in dining.
• Performs homemaking tasks.
• Responds to and reports changes in resident health status and recommendations for care.
• Completes thorough daily charting.
• Collaborates with team members to deliver The Waters Way.
• Other duties as assigned.
