Job summary

The Waters Senior Living Management LLC in Minnesota is seeking a caring resident assistant to provide personal care, assist residents at mealtimes, and support daily living in a warm, team-oriented environment. The role includes charting health status, following care plans, and working on a predictable block schedule, including every other weekend.

Pay ranges from $19 to $24 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with ability to learn electronic health record systems.
• Compassion for hospitality and commitment to senior care.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated.
• Assist residents in dining.
• Provides homemaking tasks.
• Responds to and reports changes in resident health status or care plan recommendations.
• Completes thorough daily charting.
• Works well with a team to provide a caring environment.
• Block schedules - know what to expect.
• Work in a lovely community.
• Develop relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Increase pay through the growth program and participate in resident activities; interview and tour.
