The Waters in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide compassionate personal care and support for residents under nurse supervision. You will help residents with daily activities while delivering warm, respectful service that upholds The Waters standards.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, dining assistance, homemaking, and daily charting. You will collaborate with the care team to uphold The Waters Way and ensure high-quality, person-centered care for every resident.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems.
• Compassion for hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexible with hours/shift schedules and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated.
• Assist residents in dining.
• Provides homemaking tasks.
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or recommendations for changes to the resident plan of care.
• Completes thorough daily charting.
• Collaborates with other team members within the community to deliver The Waters Way.
• Other duties as assigned.
