Job summary

The Waters, located in Minneapolis, is seeking compassionate care staff to support residents with daily living activities and health monitoring. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, and homemaking while documenting changes in health status and care plans.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English.
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn EHR systems.
• Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to be flexible with hours'/shift schedules and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other care as designated
• Assist residents in dining
• Provides homemaking tasks
• Responds to and reports changes in resident's health status and/or any recommendations for changes that should be made to the resident plan of care
• Completes thorough daily charting
• Works well with a team to provide a caring environment
