StoryPoint Grand Rapids East is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide personalized assistance to residents in a senior living community. This part-time position covers 2nd and 3rd shifts, with responsibilities including daily living support and discreet documentation of care tasks.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, adherence to 1440 care standards, and collaboration with Wellness Leaders, residents, and families in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA or MA certification preferred.
• Previous healthcare, geriatrics, or elder care experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.
• Lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Actively assist residents with bathing, grooming, and dining.
• Provide wheelchair and walking escorts as needed.
• Assist with morning and bedtime routines.
• Document care activities and log pertinent information.
• Communicate changes to Wellness Leader and families promptly.
