Job summary

CorsoCare is seeking a part-time Caregiver to provide personalized assistance for residents at StoryPoint Grand Rapids East. You will perform bathing, dining support, mobility assistance, and daily care tasks with attention to safety and dignity.

The role requires a compassionate, dependable individual with a High School Diploma or GED and experience with elderly care; CNA/MA certification is preferred. Great teamwork and adherence to 1440 care standards are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or experience working with the elderly population preferred.
• CNA or MA certification preferred.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports our culture – our pillars and 1440.
• Completion of daily/weekly tasks as assigned by the Wellness Coordinator, as well as assisting others routinely with their assignments if needed.
• Provide compassionate and competent care for residents: bathing, dining assistance, wheelchair and walking escorts, toileting and light incontinence care, routines.
• Completes and documents appropriate records, including pertinent information entered into log book.
• Maintains knowledge of safety procedures and company policies; communicates concerns to the Wellness Leader.
