Discovery Senior Living in North Port, FL, is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to enrich the lives of residents through hands-on care and meaningful connections. You’ll provide physical and emotional support, maintain a home-like environment, and help residents stay safe and comfortable.

Position highlights include Full Time status, a 6am–2pm shift with rotating weekends, and location at 6235 Hoffman St. The role requires compassion, clear communication, and a resident-focused approach, plus CNA

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred; not required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older; prior senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and support to residents in a home-like environment.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and daily activities.
• Respond to call bells promptly and ensure resident safety.
• Promote independence while maintaining dignity and well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Offer companionship and engage residents in activities.
• Notify supervisor of increased care needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
