Discovery Senior Living in North Port, FL is seeking a caring Caregiver to enrich residents' lives by providing hands-on personal care and companionship in a safe, home-like environment.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, feeding, and daily activities, while maintaining dignity and respect. The role requires patience, clear communication, and a compassionate, resident-focused approach to support independence and well-being.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication with residents, team members, and leadership.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach with superior customer service.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility assistance.
• Support residents with daily activities while promoting dignity and independence.
• Respond to care needs and resident calls promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized resident rooms and work areas.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and enrichment programs.
• Notify supervisor or coordinator of increased care needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
