Discovery Senior Living in North Port, FL seeks a compassionate Caregiver to provide hands-on care and support to residents, creating a warm, home-like environment.

As a CNA-preferred role, duties include personal care, mobility assistance, and timely response to calls, with a focus on dignity, safety, and meaningful interaction. This full-time evening shift offers competitive wages and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication skills with residents, team members, and leadership.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach with superior customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents during shift.
• Perform bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Promote dignity, safety, and independence for residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas.
• Offer companionship and engage residents in activities.
• Notify supervisor if a resident’s care needs increase.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
