Job summary

myPlace Health is seeking a Driver for our Downtown Los Angeles PACE program. You will transport participants to appointments, deliver meals, and assist at the center, ensuring safety and a welcoming experience.

The role requires at least 1 year driving frail seniors, a California Class C license, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; a test may assess proficiency.

Qualifications

• A strong mission orientation to serve high-risk seniors with care and respect.
• At least one year of experience driving frail and elderly participants safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport participants to and from the center, offsite activities, appointments, and deliver meals as needed.
• Ensure participant safety during all stages of transport.
• Collaborate with the Transportation Coordinator and IDT to observe and report changes in health.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
• Communicate clearly with participants, team members, and external contacts.
• Escort participants and support center activities during downtime.
• Embrace additional opportunities and responsibilities for organizational growth.
