Job summary

Victorian Senior Care is seeking a dedicated supervisor to oversee daily operations, assist in medication administration, and ensure compliant, compassionate resident care. You will supervise staff, participate in care plan meetings, and coordinate with the Administrator to maintain safety and quality of services.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant certificates (CNA/Personal Care Aide, Medication Aide).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have minimum six months of supervisory experience.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have or obtain CNA or Personal Care Aide Certificate (80-Hour) with Personal Care Aide training within 6-months of hire.
• Must have or obtain 15-Hour Medication Aide Certificate within 30-days of Hire.
• Must complete Medication Aide Check off within 30-days of Hire.
• Must have or obtain Medication Aide Certification within 60-days of Check off.
• Must have no substantiated findings on the NC Personnel Registry or Health Care Program and maintain during duration of employment.

Responsibilities

• Follow the policies and procedures governing the administering of medications to residents.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Assist in developing and implementing procedures or programs to prevent medication errors.
• Perform administrative requirements such as forms and reports; submit as required.
• Participate in QA Programs and facility committees affecting medication pass.
• Attend and participate in Care Plan meetings; continue education for certification updates.
• Assure quick and appropriate response to call lights and alarms; ensure care plans are implemented.
• Assist with orientation of new residents and staff; ensure resident well-being at all times.
