Job summary

Victorian Senior Care in North Carolina seeks an experienced supervisor to assist the ED/Administrator, oversee daily operations, and ensure compliance with licensing. This role supervises staff, coordinates care, and steps in when the ED/Administrator is absent.

You will participate in QA, ensure safety and safeguarding of residents, support care plans, and help orient new staff while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Six months minimum supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, understand and follow directions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• CNA or Personal Care Aide certificate within 6 months.
• Medication Aide certificate within 30 days; complete check-offs timely.
• No substantiated findings on NC Personnel Registry; clear SBI record.
• Ability to make independent decisions and work harmoniously with staff.
• Respect resident rights and maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to assist in evacuation during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies for medication administration.
• Note and report medication errors promptly.
• Assist in developing procedures to reduce medication errors.
• Complete administrative forms, charts, and reports as required.
• Participate in QA programs, committees, and surveys.
• Attend and participate in Care Plan meetings.
• Support continuing education and maintain certification status.
• Ensure safety and report hazardous conditions or equipment.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per Care Plan.
• Maintain confidentiality and resident rights at all times.
• Coordinate with staff and administrators to address residents' needs.
• Orient new residents and supervise assigned shifts.
