Job summary

StoneBridge DeSoto is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead nursing care for residents in our De Soto, MO community. The RN provides plans, coordinates and manages nursing care, nursing services and health education under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

The role emphasizes patient safety, supervision of CNAs and other team members, medication administration, and adherence to regulatory standards. Strong communication, empathy, and LTC experience preferred, with a current state RN license

Qualifications

• Must have current RN license.
• CPR certification required; nursing specialty certification desirable.
• Prefer 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing care provided by CNAs/CMTs.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work of nursing team members.
• Administers and documents medications and treatments.
• Coordinates nursing care with physicians and other disciplines.
• Monitors resident safety and ensures regulatory compliance.
