Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a dedicated Therapeutic Recreation Aide to support the Therapeutic Recreation Director by delivering daily programming that aligns with residents' individualized care plans and enhances their quality of life.

You will lead group and one-on-one activities, maintain calendars, assist with transport, document participation, and ensure HIPAA, safety, and care coordination while fostering meaningful relationships with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a genuine desire to work with seniors and advocate for their well-being.
• Strong ability to connect with residents, families, and staff through empathy and active listening.
• Background in healthcare settings is beneficial.
• Clear and effective English communication in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily therapeutic programming aligned with each resident’s care plan.
• Facilitate group and one-on-one activities tailored to interests and abilities.
• Maintain activity calendars and adjust schedules based on census changes.
• Assist with transporting residents during events and document participation.
• Support care coordination and ensure HIPAA, infection control, safety, and QAPI compliance.
