Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Therapeutic Recreation Aide to deliver daily therapeutic programming aligned with each resident’s plan of care and to enhance quality of life. You will run group and one-on-one activities, adjust scheduling, and support transport during events to ensure meaningful engagement for residents.

You will document participation, contribute to care coordination, and uphold HIPAA, infection control, safety, and QAPI standards while communicating compassionately

Qualifications

• Passion for senior care and advocacy for residents' well-being.
• Strong ability to connect with residents, families, and staff with empathy and listening.
• Experience in healthcare settings such as skilled nursing or assisted living is beneficial.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change, work in fast-paced environments, and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily therapeutic programming aligned with individualized care plans.
• Maintain activity calendars and adjust schedules based on census changes.
• Assist with transporting residents and supporting off-site events.
