Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Therapeutic Recreation Aide to support the Therapeutic Recreation Director by delivering daily therapeutic programming aligned with each resident’s plan of care, enhancing their quality of life.

You will facilitate group and one-on-one activities tailored to residents’ interests, abilities, and psychosocial needs, encourage engagement, and build relationships with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates passion for senior care and resident well-being.
• Strong relationship-building with residents, families and staff.
• Healthcare experience is beneficial.
• Clear English communication and adaptability.

Responsabilités

• Deliver daily therapeutic programming aligned to residents' individualized plans.
• Facilitate group and one-on-one activities tailored to residents’ interests, abilities and psychosocial needs.
• Maintain activity calendars and adjust schedules based on census changes.
• Document participation and progress, contributing to care coordination.
• Ensure HIPAA, infection control standards, safety protocols and QAPI requirements are followed.
