Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Humble, TX is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support providers and the Care Team. You will prep exam rooms, take vital signs, document histories, assist with examinations and minor procedures, and help manage patient flow.

You will maintain and organize medical records, coordinate labs and tests, explain procedures to patients, reinforce care plans, and support referrals.

Qualifications

• Proficient medical assisting and daily clinical workflows.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology for accurate documentation.
• Experience in a medical office with appointment support and multidisciplinary care.
• Direct patient care including vital signs and activities of daily living as needed.
• Ability to manage medical records with accuracy and confidentiality in EHR systems.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification or registration preferred.
• Current BLS or CPR certification or willingness to obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
• Take and record vital signs and document medical histories.
• Update and organize patient records and coordinate lab work and tests.
• Explain procedures, reinforce care plans, and assist with follow-up appointments and referrals.
