Job summary

Wellspire Medical Group in Humble, TX is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide clinical support in a busy primary care setting. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Minimum one year of Primary Care experience preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required (or obtained within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination rooms and escort patients.
• Obtain and document vitals, height/weight, BMI, pain, medications and allergies.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Perform CLIA-waived testing, EKGs, and hearing/vision screenings.
• Maintain exam room cleanliness and stock supplies.
• Document patient care in the EHR and complete referrals/imaging orders.
