Job summary

Dignity Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to deliver safe, accurate medication care for our residents in a senior living community.

You will administer medications per physician orders, follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration, document in MAR/TAR in real time, observe residents during and after passes, and maintain clean medication areas. CPR/First Aid certification and HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Medication Administration certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills required.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
