Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure quality, taste, and presentation while following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

The role includes inventory support and positive interactions with residents and staff. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred prior cooking experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook or food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff and guests.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean, orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff and guests, providing excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
