American Senior Communities is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our Indiana healthcare kitchen team in Indianapolis. This full-time role prepares nutritious meals, follows resident-focused menus, and maintains strict sanitation standards to ensure safety and quality.

You will lead kitchen tasks, coordinate tray assembly, and support a team of cooks and aides while upholding our C.A.R.E. values and commitment to Hoosier hospitality for seniors.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling.
• Preferred: Prior institutional and/or healthcare service experience.

Responsabilidades

• Follows recipes and prepares meals meeting residents’ nutritional needs.
• Cooks palatable, nutritionally adequate meals in required quantities.
• Leads kitchen staff with food preparation, assembling trays, and storage.
• Maintains a clean food service work area during service.
• Handles, stores, and disposes of food per procedures and regulations.
