Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a caring part-time caregiver to assist residents with activities of daily living in a supportive environment. You will interact professionally with residents, staff, and families, provide personal care, and help with transfers, meals, and light housekeeping.

Responsibilities include rounds, prompt response to care requests, and adherence to safety and training requirements. Weekend/evening/holiday work may be required to ensure continuous resident support.

Qualifications

• Age and/or education requirements in compliance with state regulations.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Must complete required orientation and training before attending to residents.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work well under stress, complete assignments accurately, and work independently, as well as with co-workers.
• Effectively communicate with residents and families in English.
• Demonstrate desire to be a team player.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Weekend, evening, night, and Holiday work if needed.
• Possible exposure to communicable diseases and infections.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily life in a positive manner.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization and activity.
• Conduct rounds and respond promptly to resident needs/requests for care.
• Assist in transferring, bathing, dressing, and toiletry needs of residents.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as a significant essential function.
• Report changes or concerns to supervisor.
• Light housekeeping of resident rooms and spills cleanup.
• Escort residents to dining room for meals; serve meals as needed.
• May launder resident clothing and bed linens.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and complete required training.
• Follow OSHA, Fire, Health Department and safety requirements.
