Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan cares for residents during scheduled shifts in a long-term care setting. You will provide resident-centered nursing care, assist with daily living activities, and support the care team under an RN's supervision.

Requirements include CNA certification in the state, high school diploma or GED, and prior long-term care experience preferred. The position offers full-time hours, day shifts, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus plus location premium.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Must have CNA certification with the state board, or be in the process of certification.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual continuing education as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Document interactions and participate in care planning.
