National Church Residences, a leading provider of affordable senior housing and health care services, seeks Non-Certified Nurse Assistants to provide direct resident care and assist with activities of daily living in a full-time role. You will support nurses, document care, and maintain residents’ comfort and safety in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled in a program to achieve preferred education.
• Experience: Two to four years preferred.
• Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Skills: Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Performs/assists with all resident direct care needs and comforts of daily living as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of resident’s room and provides daily care and restorative nursing.
• Communicates professionally and effectively, verbally and in writing; follows written and verbal directions.
• Assists nurses with tasks: measuring vitals, weights, documentation, and helping with admissions.
• Adheres to Resident Rights and confidentiality; reports concerns to supervisor.
• Documents resident information accurately in the EMR system.
• Follows Safety & Compliance policies; uses equipment properly.
• Performs food service duties: assists with meals, serves, and records intake.
