Scotland House is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide direct care for residents, assist with ADLs, and promote a safe, nurturing environment. You will support daily living activities, monitor health, and encourage participation in community activities.

The role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols, with a focus on dignity and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved PCA/CNA or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Observe health changes and report to nursing staff; assist with medication reminders.
• Foster companionship and engagement in activities to promote well‑being.
• Maintain clean, safe living areas; follow infection control protocols.
