Scotland House is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities and promote independence in a caring, safe environment.

The PCA will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, meals, hydration, and health monitoring, while following infection control protocols and safety procedures. A compassionate, patient approach and ability to work with a team are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration as needed.
• Help residents maintain personal hygiene and comfort.
• Observe and report changes in health or behavior to the nursing team.
• Foster companionship and encourage participation in activities.
• Ensure living areas are clean, organized, and safe; follow infection control protocols.
