Job summary

Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health in El Paso, TX is seeking an Appointment Setter to coordinate participant medical appointments, transportation, and communications within the care team. You will serve as a liaison between participants, caregivers, and the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure care plans are followed.

The role requires a high school diploma, scheduling experience, and comfort with EMR systems; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of scheduling, administrative, or clerical experience.
• Experience with EMR or medical scheduling software is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with a frail or elderly population is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules all routine and non-routine appointments, diagnostic, imaging, procedures, and surgeries.
• Coordinate transportation and escorts and ensure medical records and authorizations are in place.
• Upload and manage appointment information in the scheduling system and EMR.
• Maintain appointment matrices and communicate updates to the care team.
• Provide reminder calls and coordinate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
