Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Cath Lab Cardiovascular Tech to support cardiology procedures at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital and Naperville ASC. This full-time role is 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, with on-call shifts. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for external candidates and benefits are provided.

Requirements include 2+ years in the cath lab, RTR/RTN/RCVT license, ACLS, and RCIS within two years. Lifting up to 35 lbs and ability to work in a high-stress setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years cardiac cath lab experience.
• Proficiency in PTCA; EPS preferred; holds RTR/RTN license.
• ACLS and RCIS within 2 years of employment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; high-stress environment capable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete documentation of cardiovascular procedures.
• Participate in in-services and continuing education to stay current.
• Ensure quality control across the lab and patient safety.
• Assist with new staff orientation and act as a resource.
