Job summary
Advocate Health in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab to join our three-lab unit. The RN will assist the cardiovascular team from prep through recovery, with 4-10 hour shifts and a requirement to be on call with a 30-minute arrival time.
Travel to other Advocate sites may be required for orientation. Ideal candidates hold an Illinois RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with 1 year of critical care or cath lab nursing
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Illinois RN license issued by the state of Illinois.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in Critical Care or Cath Lab.
- Ability to take call and arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
