Job summary

Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove seeks a Cath Lab Cardiovascular Tech to support cardiology procedures at the hospital and Naperville Freedom Drive ASC. This full-time, dayshift role offers 4–10 hour shifts per week (Mon–Fri) with on-call requirements for interventional calls.

The ideal candidate will hold an Illinois RT license, current ARRT registry, and BCLS, with 1+ year interventional or cath lab experience. New grads are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of Radiology.
• Current RT license in the State of Illinois.
• Current ARRT registry; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• Typically requires 1+ years of Interventional (IR) or procedural experience (Cath Lab, OR, IR)

Responsibilities

• Provides procedural support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization.
• Delivers patient-centered care under supervision of physicians and Cath Lab staff.
• Provides patient/family education and information to the care team.
• Maintains a safe, organized and efficient work environment.
• Demonstrates strong customer service and teamwork.
• Supports professional growth and accountability within the organization.
