Job summary

Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in the Cardiac Cath Lab is seeking a full-time nurse with cardiology experience to provide specialized cardiovascular care and assist physicians during procedures.

The role requires current Illinois RTR/RTN/RCIS credentials, ACLS, and the ability to respond to calls within 30 minutes. 4-10 hour shifts with on-call duties offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2 years cardiac cath lab experience preferred.
• Proficiency in PTCA; EPS preferred.
• AAS in RTR or RTN license required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 12 CEU hours per year.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care during cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain complete documentation of cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist physicians with operation of cardiovascular equipment.
• Respond to off-hour call ins within thirty minutes.
