Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist for the Cardiovascular Community in Boston Central. The TAS drives demand for BMS medicines, engages HCPs with scientific dialogue, and develops territory plans to meet targets.

This field-based role emphasizes patient care, high standards of scientific accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pharma/biotech, CV experience, and a strong track record in customer engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP.
• Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data to physicians clearly.
• Proven credibility with customers and field staff in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in cardiovascular therapeutic areas is preferred.
• Strong account management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote approved indications and meet sales targets within a defined territory.
• Articulate the clinical and scientific rationale for product use to HCPs.
• Maintain up-to-date scientific expertise across assigned products.
• Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans.
• Collaborate with field teams to ensure best customer experience.
• Organize speaker programs; manage scheduling and logistics.
