Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Portland, ME seeks a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) to drive physician engagement and demand for cardiovascular medicines within a defined territory. This field-based role focuses on scientific dialogue, compliant communication, and delivering outstanding Customer Experience to HCPs.

You will build plans, collaborate across teams, stay current with emerging data, and present data accurately while prioritizing patient outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech healthcare sales experience.
• Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to physicians.
• Demonstrated credibility with key customers and cross-functional teams.
• Cardiovascular experience preferred.
• Strong account management, selling competencies and track record of meeting goals.
• Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Articulates the clinical/scientific rationale for product use to HCPs.
• Maintains high level of scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Implements territory and account plans.
• Collaborates with field teams to ensure best Customer Experience (Cx).
• Uses CE^3 and other tools to gather insights and plan calls.
• Keeps leadership informed with insights to enable improvements.
