Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Therapeutic Area Specialist for the Cardiovascular Community in Riverside, CA. This field-based role drives demand for BMS medicines by engaging healthcare providers with scientific dialogue and a customer-centric approach.

The TAS builds credibility with regional thought leaders and community physicians, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver a superior customer experience while prioritizing safe and appropriate use of BMS products.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse.
• Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to physicians.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain credibility with key customers and stakeholders.
• Experience in cardiovascular indications preferred.
• Strong account management and sales performance track record.
• Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Engages with HCPs with balanced clinical and scientific rationale for product use.
• Maintains high level of scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Prepares territory and account plans and uses tools to inform call plans.
• Collaborates with field teams to enhance Customer Experience (Cx).
• Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, and policies governing conduct.
