Job summary

Bristol-Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) in the cardiovascular field to engage health care providers with scientifically grounded discussions. This field-based role emphasizes strategic territory planning, collaboration across functions, and advancing patient-focused care in the Westchester, NY area.

The TAS will drive demand, maintain deep product knowledge, and ensure compliant, high-quality interactions while aligning with BMS’s patient-centric mission and company

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
• Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to physicians.
• Experience building credibility with key customers and care teams.
• Cardiovascular experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes approved indications within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Articulates clinical and scientific rationale for product use to HCPs.
• Maintains high scientific expertise across assigned products/therapeutic areas.
• Prepares comprehensive territory and account plans.
