Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) in the cardiovascular field to engage health care providers with scientific dialogue and drive appropriate use of medicines. This field-based role focuses on building credibility, managing accounts, and delivering a differentiated customer experience.

You will promote indications, stay current with emerging data, and collaborate with medical and commercial teams to improve patient care in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific field and 5+ years of pharma/biotech healthcare sales or MSL experience.
• Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data to physicians clearly and convincingly.
• Proven credibility with customers and cross-functional teams; strong account management skills.
• Experience in cardiovascular therapeutic areas is a plus.
• Proficiency with data-enabled decision making and CE^3 tooling.

Responsibilities

• Promote approved indications within a defined territory to meet/exceed sales targets.
• Articulate clinical and scientific rationales for product use to HCPs.
• Maintain scientific expertise across assigned products and therapies.
• Develop comprehensive territory and account plans; perform call planning.
• Collaborate with field colleagues to optimize customer experience and outcomes.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support customer needs in a timely, compliant manner.
