Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associate Surgical Account Manager or Surgical Account Manager to drive Impella-based cardiac solutions in the Phoenix area. The role partners with cardiology sales and clinical teams to expand the vascular interventions and heart recovery portfolio.

The candidate will travel 50–75% overnight, build relationships with Cardiac Surgeons and Heart Failure Cardiologists, and lead teams to meet and exceed sales quotas across designated territories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of cardiac surgery and/or combined cardiology medical device sales experience for Senior level.
• 5+ years experience for Associate level in cardiac surgery/ cardiology devices or sales.
• Proven track record of selling in an operating room.
• Proven leadership to achieve quotas.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac surgery and heart anatomy.
• Established relationships with Cardiac Surgeons across the region.

Responsibilities

• Gain distribution and utilization of the Impella 5.5.
• Manage EXCEL sites and clinicals on new Surgery, Heart Failure, ECMO technologies.
• Collaborate within the area to achieve quarter over quarter growth.
• Drive vision of heart recovery solutions with current and future technologies.
• Travel and call on Cardiac Surgeons and Heart Failure Cardiologists.
• Staff major conferences and local heart failure symposiums.
• Build surgical vertical in established Impella programs.
