Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associate Area Manager or Area Manager to support cardiovascular clients in the Albuquerque, NM area. You will work with a clinical partner to drive growth and provide guidance on Impella portfolio usage to improve patient outcomes.

Candidates should have extensive sales experience in cardiovascular medical devices, strong leadership, and the ability to travel up to 50% overnight. Knowledge of interventional cardiology is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in sales with 2+ years in cardiovascular medical device sales.
• Total: 8+ years sales with 5+ years cardiovascular device sales.
• Proven ability to sell into Cath Lab or surgical suites.
• Proven leadership to motivate teams and meet quotas.
• Strong interventional cardiology knowledge.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight.
• Compliance with state and federal medical device regulations.

Responsibilities

• Promote & sell Impella product line to established customers (physicians, Heart Teams, Administrators).
• Identify new customers (physicians, hospitals) and lead efforts to activate new centers.
• Create account/territory business plans and build programs.
• Exceed sales for assigned territory.
• Initiate Impella development activities to increase market awareness.
• Lead clinical teams to drive Impella adoption in the territory.
