Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking an Associate Surgical Account Manager or Surgical Account Manager in Omaha, Nebraska, to drive growth in the Impella portfolio across cardiac surgery and heart failure. Field-based role with collaboration with cardiology sales and clinical teams, supporting physicians and staff to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years in cardiac surgery/ cardiology medical devices for AM or 10+ for SAM, proven OR selling, and a network of Cardiac Surgeons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years experience in cardiac surgery and/or cardiology device sales required for Surgical Account Manager.
• 5+ years experience in cardiac surgery and/or cardiology clinical or sales for Associate Account Manager.
• Proven track record of selling in an operating room.
• Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve quotas.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac surgery and structural heart anatomy.
• Established relationships with Cardiac Surgeons in the region.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Gain distribution and utilization of the Impella 5.5 (left-sided).
• Gain distribution and utilization of the Impella RP (right-sided).
• Manage EXCEL sites and clinicals on new Surgery, Heart Failure, ECMO technologies.
• Collaborate within the area to drive quarter over quarter growth.
• Promote heart recovery solutions with current and future devices.
