UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer III (Echocardiographer) to perform diagnostic ultrasound of the heart, including transthoracic and transesophageal studies, under supervision of the cardiology physician. The role requires completion of an associate or bachelor’s degree, ARDMS/CCI credentials, and several years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7 years related experience with an Associate Degree or 5 years with a Bachelor’s.
• ARDMS or equivalent credentials required (ARDMS/Ult Cert ARRT/CCI).

Responsabilités

• Perform structural heart transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Review patient history and ensure safety during procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
• Prepare exam room and adhere to infection control policies.
• Document findings and prepare preliminary reports for physicians.
