Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer to perform advanced echocardiographic and vascular studies in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will work with cardiologists and vascular surgeons to interpret findings and ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate education in ultrasound with preferred cardiovascular focus.
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient cardiac ultrasound environments.
• Current NM licensure and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced echocardiographic studies including transthoracic, transesophageal and stress echocardiograms.
• Conduct comprehensive vascular ultrasound exams including carotid, peripheral arterial/venous, and abdominal vascular imaging.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and surgeons to interpret findings and guide care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting of results.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment per manufacturer and hospital standards.
• Engage in quality assurance and continuing education activities.
