University Health is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic cardiac images. The role requires knowledge of thoracic and internal cardiac anatomy, including M-Mode, 2-D and Doppler techniques, and involves leadership activities under supervision.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography with RDCS or RCS registries, and at least two years of echocardiography experience, plus current BLS

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• RDCS with ARDMS or RCS with CCI required or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of echocardiography experience.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilités

• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic cardiac images.
• Demonstrate knowledge of thoracic anatomy and cardiac anatomy.
• Perform leadership activities and adhere to supervisor instructions.
