Job summary

Academic Medical Group Inc. in Tampa is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer III to perform advanced echocardiographic imaging including 2D/3D transthoracic studies, myocardial strain imaging, bubble and contrast studies, and stress echocardiograms.

The role supports physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and timely PACS reporting. The ideal candidate has ARDMS/CCI and BLS credentials with at least 2 years of experience, and a technical program in Echocardiography.

Qualifications

• Advanced adult 2D/3D echocardiograms performed per protocol.
• Must have current knowledge and level of expertise in echocardiography.
• Experience with myocardial strain imaging and bubble studies.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced adult 2D and 3D echocardiograms in accordance with protocols.
• Assists cardiologists during stress echocardiograms and research studies.
• Correlates patient history with indications to produce high-quality images.
• Maintains PACS reporting and data integrity.
• Maintains and troubleshoots ultrasound equipment and safety.”
