Job summary

The candidate should possess ARDMS Adult Echocardiography certification and an associate's or bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, with a minimum of two years of experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiogram procedures on patients according to established protocols.
• Obtain and record patient history and pertinent clinical information.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper function.
• Analyze and interpret images to identify abnormalities and assist with diagnosis.
• Communicate findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals promptly.
• Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality care.
• Stay updated on advances in cardiac ultrasound techniques and continuing education.
