Job summary

Salem Health is seeking a cardiac sonographer to perform advanced echocardiographic imaging, including TTE, stress echo, and TEE, ensuring patient safety and accurate reporting. You will prepare patients, adjust imaging techniques, and document findings for physician interpretation in a hospital setting.

You will collaborate with the SH Echo team, maintain equipment, and participate in ongoing improvements and training to support high-quality patient care and departmental development.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiographic procedures including TTE, stress echo, and TEE by acquiring accurate images, adjusting techniques in real time and preparing comprehensive reports for physician interpretation.

RDCS/CCI certification

BLS certification

OBMI certification

High school diploma

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate from accredited school of noninvasive cardiovascular technology/ultrasound

3 years recent experience with 800 echocardiograms
