Mercy Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer Registered at St. Charles Hospital to perform diagnostic echocardiography across transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress modalities.

The role requires an allied health degree, BLS certification, and RDCS/ RCS credentials with at least one year of experience preferred. The candidate will work with EPIC EHR and PACS, participate in invasive and non-invasive exams, and support patient care before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree in an applied health science field with a concentration in cardiovascular technology, ultrasonography or related study (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (required).
• Credentialed in echocardiography by RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI).
• Minimum one year of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer (preferred).
• EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred.

• Performs diagnostic echocardiography examinations using ultrasound equipment to evaluate the heart.
• Demonstrates ability to perform non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams.
• Prepare and monitor patients before and during procedures.
• Utilize EMR to review patient information and document critical findings.
• On call hours required.
