The candidate will contribute to research and provide preliminary reports to cardiologists while aligning with department core functions in Imaging. PRN scheduling and ongoing professional development are expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher required; bachelor’s preferred.
• 2 years cardiac sonography/ultrasound experience required.
• RDCS or RCS certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs adult and pediatric transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms.
• Maintains required competencies and participates in research projects.
• Preliminary reporting to cardiologists and collaboration with the Cardiology team.
• PRN schedule with flexible coverage as part of the Cardiology imaging team.
