Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Virginia is seeking a Registered Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic echocardiography including TTE, TEE, and stress testing. You will work at St. Francis Medical Center, evaluating cardiac function and supporting patient care across on-call shifts.

Minimum one year of experience is preferred; EPIC EHR and PACS experience are also preferred. BLS is required, with RDCS or RCS credentials encouraged. Employee benefits follow the Bon Secours Mercy Health system.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in health science with cardiovascular focus (preferred).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Credentialed in echocardiography: RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI).

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic echocardiography examinations using ultrasound equipment to evaluate the heart.
• Demonstrates ability to perform non-invasive and invasive cardiac exams.
• Prepares and monitors patients before and during procedures.
• Uses the EMR to review patient information and document findings.
• On-call hours required.

Education

Associates degree in an applied health science field with a concentration in cardiovascular technology, ultrasonography or other related study (preferred)
