Job summary

Seton Medical Center Harker Heights in Texas is seeking a Day Shift, full-time Lead Cardiovascular Technologist for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. You will supervise staff, coordinate imaging and nursing activities, perform procedures, maintain PACS/RIS, and ensure ALARA safety while collaborating with the Heart & Vascular Center Director.

Required are ARRT RT license (LMRT preferred), RCIS optional, plus BLS and ACLS; leadership experience in a cardiovascular lab is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program.
• ARRT RT certification with Texas license (LMRT) preferred.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience leading a cardiovascular laboratory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Heart & Vascular Center Director in delivering high-quality patient care and supervising staff.
• Plan staffing and staff education for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
• Participate in HR activities including interviewing, training, and scheduling.
• Maintain quality assurance and ensure compliance with Joint Commission and licensing requirements.
• Operate and maintain imaging and hemodynamics equipment; ensure patient safety and ALARA compliance.
